Effect of Bleaches & Solvents: Unaffected.
Resistance to Mildew, Rotting, Aging, and Sunlight: Excellent.
Fiberglass tape is typically used for: wrapping steam tracer lines, hose, piping, tadpole tapes, gasketing and curtains for high temperature ovens.
Fiberglass rope is highly flexible twisted and formed rope in various diameters. Typically packaged on 25 lb. spools which can be broken for smaller orders.
Fiberglass cloth is used for: electrical insulation; heat shields; welding; stress relieving; pad cover insulation; gasket products; fire blankets; fire curtain; expansion joints; flue ducts; etc.. These cloths are woven of highly texturized fiber glass yarns. Also available as tacky cloth with brass wire inserted and with rubber compound to provide strength and conformability, ideal for manhole, handhole, and tadpole gaskets. Service rating +400°F.
